I'm trying to get my second guild wars to run with the following autohotkey script:

WinGet, gwid, List, Guild Wars

Up::
IfWinActive, Guild Wars
{

SendRaw,, {Up}, ahk_id %gwid2%
Return
}
=========

However it just doesn't work for some reason. If I use {} with the first Up command the script doesn't load because the Up key doesn't exist on my current keyboard layout. On the contrary not using {} with the second one just turns it into hotkey spam for party (p) and minimap (u).

Anyone who made their accounts multibox successfully and can help me out?

As I will still be doing every keystroke myself (nothing's automated) this script is perfectly legal and comparable to most g15 scripts. So please don't scare me with EULA stuff unless you actually quote the paragraph that is relevant.

Use GWx2? Would be much easier.

Ofcourse I use GWx2 but that still doesn't mean I can control both windows at the same time. I want to be able to move with both characters independently, one with zqsd and the other one with the arrows, without alt-tabbing. That's where this script comes in.

That's a catch-all. ANet don't like dual/multi clienting but it tends to be ignored as most people, me included, just use it for easy transferral of items from mule accounts.

Dual boxing, to actually play two clients actively at the same time, is a whole different ball game.

GWx2 is shady enough. You can be banned for it depending on the mood of the NCSoft that day. Controlling both boxes with one cursor does seem a little...much. Might want to be careful about that. Or at least not be surprised if you are banned.

Oh god what nonsense. So you think A.net just bans on the whim of one employee? You really think they don't have any guidelines like only ban when botting or hacking or cheating and letting people who play the game normally in peace?

Only thing I want to do is play my left screen with the left side of my keyboard and my right screen with the right side of my screen. There is nothing in the whole EULA or TOA about loving the game so much you want to play two characters at the same time, and for what it's worth, if they ban me I'll sue them. I've got the EULA and TOA on my side so it will be an easy win.

Really, I don't know a single game where the players are this scared about getting banned for playing the game without cheating or hacking... it's ridiculous...
